Health Promotion Specialist (m/f), Aligarh in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh

Your tasks:
- Prepare and distribute health education materials, such as reports, bulletins, and visual aids, to address smoking, vaccines, and other public health concerns
- Collaborate with health specialists and civic groups to determine community health needs and the availability of services andto develop goals for meeting needs
- Document activities and record information, such as the numbers of applications completed, presentations conducted, and persons assisted
- Maintain databases, mailing lists, telephone networks, and other information to facilitate the functioning of health education programs
- Supervise professional and technical staff in implementing health programs, objectives, and goals
Your skills:
- Identifying the educational needs of others, developing formal educational or training programs or classes, and teaching or instructing others
- Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do
- Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time
- Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources
- Communicating with people outside the organization,representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources
- Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person
- Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work
- Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
- Selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things
